NFL Recap Week 11

Week 11 was a very important because it showed who are the pretenders and who are the contenders in the NFL this season. Besides that, the main story was the fact that kickers missed 12 extra points. 12. 12 extra points. Anyway, here was the action in case you missed it…

Saints 20 Panthers 23 – Saints comeback was cut short as the Carolina Panthers are now tied with the Saints for 3rd in the NFC south at 4-6. Mark Ingram also got a concussion so his status is up in the air for next week.

Cardinals 24 Vikings 30- Vikings had a 100 yard pick six from Xavier Rhodes and a kick return from Cordarrelle Patterson to start the second half as the Vikings break their losing streak.

Bills 16 Bengals 12- Bengals lose A.J. Green with a partial tear in his hamstring and Giovanni Bernard for the rest of the season with a torn ACL according to Ian Rappaport. Bengals playoff hopes are continuing to die out.

Bears 16 Giants 22- Cutler throws a game sealing pick as the Giants improve to 7-3. Cutler injured his shoulder and is out for season according to Rappaport. Leonard Floyd also injured his neck in the loss as the bears fall to 2-8.

Steelers 24 Browns 9- Steelers ease by the lowly Browns who are flirting with a defeated season of 0-16.

Buccaneers 19 Chiefs 17- Buccaneers get by the Chiefs at Arrowhead to put themselves in the thick of the NFC Wild Card chase.

Ravens 17 Cowboys 27- Dak Prescott firmly proves he belongs in the MVP discussion throwing 3 touchdowns. Cowboys improve to 9-1.

Jaguars 19 Lions 26- Blake Bortles throws another pick six to put Gus Bradley firmly on the hot seat. Lions take over first place of the NFC North.

Titans 17 Colts 24- Colts beat Titans after a fast 21-0 start. Bad news for the Colts was the fact that Andrew Luck got a concussion. Scott Tolzien may lead the team next week. Mariota and Co.’s running game gets slowed down.

Dolphins 14 Rams 10- Jared Goff’s debut is spoiled as the Dolphins score 14 points in the fourth quarter making it 5 straight victories.

Patriots 30 49ers 17- Patriots did not play their best game in Tom Brady’s return to the bay area. The Patriot came alive in the second half by outscoring the 49ers 17-7.

Eagles 15 Seahawks 26- Russell Wilson catches a touchdown pass in Thomas Rawls’ return to action. Unfortunately, rookie C.J. Prosise may be lost for the year with a shoulder injury.

Packers 24 Redskins 42- Packers fall to 4-6 as Kirk Cousins and Robert “Fat Rob” Kelley push the Redskins to a 6-3-1 record.
